Muneca is a cute 2-3 yr old, brown and white, female, Pit bull terrier.
She was rescued from a neglectful home. Her previous owners left her in a small confined space where she was used for breeding. She was never walked, played with or vaccinated. Due to this neglect, she is not well socialized.
She’s graduating from a rehabilitation program that has helped her deal with dog–aggression issues (lunging and staring behavior.) She needs a home that can continue to reinforce her training. Her trainer believes she will be happiest in a home where there are no other cats or dogs, unless the owner is an experienced dog handler.
Despite all this, Muneca is truly a sweetie. She’s very submissive and gentle with people. Her adoption fee ($250) covers her shots, spaying, microchip and an introductory lesson with the dog trainer, as well as a training DVD.
Help change the misconception that Pit Bulls are bad. This breed has more animals euthanized than any other and it’s due to an inaccurate stereotype about these dogs, instead of some owners. Please contact Barks of Love today and give Muneca the life she deserves!
