Scooble.com will join the Inland Valley Humane Society & SPCA’s 8th Annual Dog Walk Saturday, May 30, 7:30 a.m. at Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park in San Dimas.
Considered the Inland Valley’s largest pet walk, thousands of pet lovers and owners participate in the 1-, 2-, or 3-mile Walk each year raising funds for the animals of the IVHS & SPCA. This year’s fundraising goal is $100,000.
“We are grateful for your generous support in helping us provide necessary shelter and medical services to the homeless animals cared for by the Inland Valley Humane Society & SPCA,” said Jenni Skidmore of the Dog Walk Committee.
This year’s “Howlywood Paws of Fame” theme promises plenty of entertainment, including a pancake breakfast, live music by Reflux, pet contests, and the Vendor Village featuring pet boutiques, breed rescue groups and pet information booths.
Vendor Village participant Scooble.com, the online resource for finding the best pet food and services, will be giving away goody bags of special treats to walkers.
Registration and breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m., with the Walk kicking off at 9:30 a.m. Festivities will continue until 12:30 p.m. To pre-register, visit www.firstgiving.com/ivhs. Incentive prizes will begin at $35 raised. Grand prizes will be awarded to the adult and child who raise the most pledges.
All attending dogs must be 4 months or older, kept on a six foot leash or shorter, and have current vaccinations and rabies licensing.
Bonelli Regional Park is located at 120 Via Verde Park Road, San Dimas.
