Pet Adoption Faire Benefits Upland Animal Shelter

Dogs and cats of the Upland Animal Shelter will be highlighted at Helping Out Pets Everyday’s (HOPE) 10th Annual Pet Adoption Faire Saturday, May 16, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Upland Memorial Park.

The Faire will also feature adoptable pets from other local rescue groups, as well as free pet microchipping for Upland residents ($20 for nonresidents), low cost vaccinations provided by Upland Animal Hospital and Foothill Animal Hospital, and pet-friendly vendors, including online pet service locator Scooble.com.

“This is the second HOPE fundraiser Scooble has joined, and we couldn’t be more thrilled,” said Scooble.com’s Rob Chell. “And, as always, we’ll be giving out goody bags full of treats to new pet parents.”

This year’s event will be emceed by radio personality and “Voice of the Inland Empire” Ron Stark, and will include live music by The Ravelers, a special guest appearance by the Los Angeles Kings mascot Bailey, performances by Disc Dogs in Southern California and Rock ‘N’ Rovers Flyball Racing Team, book signings by author and Daily Bulletin columnist Diana Sholley, and much more.

Upland Memorial Park is located at the corners of Foothill Blvd. and Hospital Pkwy.
