The San Diego Humane Society and SPCA’s 12th Annual Telethon will broadcast live from the San Diego Campus for Animal Care Sunday, March 8, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on KFMB-CBS Channel 8.
The yearly fundraiser will feature a special behind-the-scenes tour of the Humane Society, adoptable dogs, cats and small animals, pet tips, news and advice, successful adoption stories, prizes, and more.
Scooble.com, the online resource for finding the best pet food and services, will join the Telethon as a Pet Sponsor for the first time since its launch: “We value events that contribute so greatly to the community, and are proud to sponsor this year’s Telethon,” said Scooble.com’s Rob Chell.
Benefiting San Diego’s needy animals, community members are encouraged to visit a County of San Diego Department of Animal Services shelter during the broadcast to find a potential pet. For shelter locations, visit www.sddac.com.
About San Diego Humane Society and SPCA: The Humane Society is dedicated to promoting the humane treatment of animals, preventing cruelty to animals, and providing education to enhance the human-animal bond.
