LOS ANGELES – KFI AM radio honored the life of their long-time chief engineer John Paoli who passed away Oct. 19 by donating money to The Amanda Foundation, a nonprofit dog and cat rescue organization.
“He was an animal lover and had asked that all donations be made in his name to The Amanda Rescue Foundation,” KFI’s Brett Rateaver said of Paoli.
Along with the funds raised, KFI sponsor Scooble.com donated $1,250 worth of Canidae All Natural Pet Foods to the organization.
“Scooble.com helps pet owners find the best products and services for their pets. We feel rescued animals deserve the best too,” said Scooble.com’s Rob Chell. “We’re proud to contribute to The Amanda Foundation.”
Since its 1976 inception, the Foundation has rescued thousands of Los Angeles County animals from being destroyed. All animals acquired by the organization are provided medical treatment, vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered, as well as receive training if necessary.
